White letters in or out on Tires?

I went white out because I’m old and I like it

For me, it varies based on model, color, wheels, decals, etc and how it all fits together visually. Some trucks might look better with white letters out. Others, with white letters in.

 

If the truck was white, I would say white letters out.

That's what I did on my old '94 ford explorer.

 

I, like a lot of people on here, that was the truck that got me enamored with buying a Toyota someday.

I've been white in since the muscle cars but must say a lot of the pictures in this thread with white out look really good as long as they keep them cleaned up . .

I used to have the white letters but I kinda got tired of them and flipped the tires with the new wheels

 

Bought my truck last November. This is the lucky thread that gets to see my first profile post! Truck is dirty as hell but just got the new wheels/tires on. SEMA 17" wheels with 265/70/17 KO2. I could go either way on white out or in. Right now I'm just happy to have better wheels.
