Yup. I hear you. Mine did as well. I should have done it when I put the suspension in but thought I’d chance it. Now that it’s in, its all good. I ration went away. Good luck! And let us know how it goes

I'm in Arkansas and the finish isn't looking too hot after 6 months on the truck, getting some pitting. Had OME on my last truck and they did the same thing it just took a little longer so I figure it's par for the course.

Just curious, would a little shot of Fluid Film help with the corrosion? I wouldn't mind using it to preserve the life of the suspension.

I doubt it's affecting the service life, but it doesn't sound like a bad idea if you want to keep it looking good.

My current sway bar connections are already rusty, I figure I should get some Fluid Film after doing my lift to keep down the corrosion, kinda sucks when your surrounded by the salt air.

Call a local shop that specializes in Toyota off road/overland vehicles if there is one close to you. I was pleasantly surprised at the price I was quoted for the install (I supplied bushing and seal).

Nice. Y'all making me wish I went second notch but it looks like you got some more weight upfront.

I was thinking the same thing. Mine on the first notch is pretty much the same, besides his rake that’s pretty high, but could just be pics

Judging from the background of the first photo, you must be in TX!

I am still waiting on my kit to come in (damn coronavirus delays....). I also opted for the HS AAL.

My truck is a long bed Off Road 4x4 with a Leer camper shell, so it will probably sit a little lower in the rear. No added weight in the front of the truck, and I am not planning on adding anything heavy there as far as I know on my list of mods to do.

I am still debating whether or not to leave in the overload due to the extra weight in the back.

I've gone on terrain similar to the one in the video posted as a reply to your question.

I am new to trucks and off-roading but I can tell you that even given my very limited experience the Eibach kit feels a lot better and more, well..., appropriate than the stock setup. I got the Pro Kit and the Headstrong 3 leaf set in the back.

My truck sits completely level (second pic the truck isnt on level ground) and i think thats due to the front bumper (sso slimline). I may go ahead and put my overload leaf back in since i do haul quite a bit of weight from time to time. I would do the same since you'll have the heavy shell in the rear.

    And yes.. Texas :)

Eibach Pro Stage 1 on 2nd clip, 3 leaf Icon AAL's in back.
I am on second notch up front and left the overload in on a 3 leaf aal. The overload gives you another .5 of height and doesn't really affect the ride quality. Mine sits .5 up in the back so with a canopy you should sit about perfect.
Love the look of that slimline. I really don't want a huge front bumper but some added protection and a winch would be nice. Not to heavy either.
You won't regret putting the overload back in.

Calling tomorrow. Ordered bushing and seal today. If you don’t mind what was the cost? I’m thinking 2hr labor tops. I hope

I paid $130 for them to install my bushing and axle seal. They used their fluid to top off the diff. I thought it was fair.

Mine is completely corroded now. Front and back. I imagine eibach would have tested it for all climate conditions.... super disspointed as they're supposed to be a reputable brand and not just something offshore
