I didn't like how low the bottom bedcage bit was, so I cut it out and relocated a little higher.

Not a whole lot today. Removed a shit ton of spatter, cut the fenders back on a better line and folded the hood down. I'll go along with a strip of steel and even it up so it looks pretty.

    Also, fuck fiberglass.

Is there a future plan for closing off the engine bay and protecting it a bit?

Yeah, not sure how I want to do it. I'll probably just use pond liner. Works well and is durable.

Tightened all the things, fixed a slow leak in brake line, then welded up gusset bracing for coilover hoops. Only took one picture because it was a dirty, somewhat boring day. Tie rod clamp for hydro arrives tomorrow.

Also, ATF exploded from overfill and sprayed the engine bay. Apparently it's also the best way to clean your engine...

The volcano of foamy ATF seems to be a passage of rights when you try to bleed a pretty empty assist ram...been there, more than once lol

Haha, so, I couldn't figure out where it popped. Went over all the lines, but because it was everywhere, it looked like it came from the sky.

Only clue being the pump reservoir has that saddle area at the top under the cap. That had puddles. My main concern was not letting it go dry.

You know, I’m lying in bed and just read through this thread. As I got in bed I told myself no pornhub cause I’m a screamer and @EatSleepTacos is in the other room and we have to be up early to hit the trails. This was a mistake...

Seriously though, you’re killing it but you don’t need me to tell you that. I love reading/watching builds like this especially when they’re done in a home garage.

Seriously appreciated. I still don't know what I'm doing all the time, but that's really the fun part of it. I've made lots of mistakes, corrected them and just kept working on stuff.

I took the day off today because I'm waiting on triple rate hardware and springs to settle down this body roll. Gonna head out to Moonrocks tomorrow and watch people beat on their rigs like New Jersey housewives from the 40s.

Also ordered the IROKs today, just need to limit strap and bump then roll out hard

Took about 30 min to find bad fittings on hydro assist. Redid the lines out on the top and kept wheelin. Didn't take pictures because I honestly was white knuckled every side hill. Triple rate sliders tender, and heavier upper spring ships Tuesday.

Found my limit strap lengths and found a binding issue on the rear cage... Right where it looks like I'll hit, sho'nuff, I can only squeak out 10.25" of droop, which is more than traction can handle, so it shall stay like that and I'll just limit at 10".

Front clears like a champ. It's almost like I know what I'm doing... Hint: I don't.

24 inch from tube to able rear
15 inches from frame to axle front passenger
12 inches frame to truss front driver
