i cant find the loose chip anywhere. oh well.
My neouropathy is so in my left arm, I can barely pick up a screw or even form simple chords.
I'm off monday but i doubt anyone is working. Not sure if they opened non essential surgery
around here or what. Probably need to focus on getting the rotator cuff stuff done.

Well shit. Using the factory screw holes for the tuners, the angles are all off. How did I miss this?

Eliminated the amp as the source of the buzz, I think. Did the ground loop test, no change. Only does it with guitar plugged in. Strings not touching. Do get changes when adjusting amp volume, gain, and guitar volume. Gonna pull the pot cover after coffee. Did read that grounds should be grounded together, not separately, or something like that. Have to go back and check that one.

a star ground is usually what most do but isn’t required. The ground on your output jack is where you want to start.

start at the 9 minute mark.

If you play an electric unplugged, it may matter. But plugged in? You’re right. Guilty as charged, I guess. Now excuse me, I’m off to the wine cellar:anonymous:

Think I got the Ibanez set up darn close, at least the tuning part. Lotta hate for the Ibanez floating trem I'm not getting. Once you figure it out, it's not that bad setting up. My only bitch, I wish the fine tuners heads were a little longer for better grip. Hard to turn, tore my thumb and forefinger up. And I don't like the D Addario strings that came on it.
