Similarly, why come into a thread to dump on something that someone is sharing with the community, rather than moving on to another thread that appeals to you more?

Pretty cool project! I may look into doing something like this. Maybe deleting just one seat since its just me, my wife, and one dog.

I definitely get the impulsivity, I was diagnosed as bipolar when I was 15 lol. Glad you're enjoying your truck either way.

I ripped out the back seat of my Access Cab to do the same thing. Theres no issues with what OP did. He made his own. He wouldn't be able to do that with the AC - due to even less room.

@Bob 216 props for your ingenuity and making something that you needed. Don't worry about what others are saying

Any idea if the rear seats still fold up with the goose gear panel in place?

I'm not sure but I doubt it. I only have the bottom panels. I plan to put Docloco's Molle rack on the back wall.

That is the set up I have. You will need to trim 1.2” off the bottom of the molle panel for it to fit.

Not sure what you are asking. Are talking about the bottom deck that replaces the Bottom portion of the seats or the back panel that replaces the Back portion of the seats? Both require removing all portions of the seat they replace. I don’t have the GG back panel so can’t say if you can keep the bottom part of the seats in place and have that back panel in place.

Can you take a picture of your setup? What did you use to cut your goose gear plate?

I didn’t cut the GG plate. I trimmed the Molle panel.

I clamped a piece of angle iron to it for a straight edge then used a Sawzall reciprocating saw to trim the excess off. Ran a perfect straight edge for 90% the length and then got wonky when I got to where my son was holding it down for me. I used my angle grinder to clean it up. Had I gone slower and been more careful I would not have needed to. Hit it with some paint and it was good to go. image.jpg
