You should buy a cheapo and try it. There's some interesting shit happening out there when we're not around.
Side note: my buddy has one out next to his pond, got a pic of 7 otters not long ago.

Don’t otters eat a lot of fish? Once fished a small pond and kept seeing two otters, didn’t catch a single fish.

Yep, last year he caught lots of bass and blugill, very few this year.
He called the DOC and they said he could 'get rid of them' but they're not overly public animals. He hasn't seen them since that pic.

You trophy buck hunting? Stand hunt is nice, just remember to breathe. Its going to be natural to get excited. Just breathe and just take your time the closer the animal the slower you move. Dont bump your rifle on something in the blind. Pay attention to the guide as they prob have their hitlist bucks or cull bucks. Put the rifle on target, breathe and squeeze trigger. If the animal is looking at you try not to move. Just wait, it may seem like a long time but usually within a few minutes they get back to what they are doing.

If you dont get excited theres a problem.. ;) nothing wrong with a doe, they taste better anyhow...depends on how many tags you have. Dont pass on something first day you wouldnt shoot on last day. If you feel its something you want, its a trophy for you. Within parameters of what the guide says.

Very important. The guide/outfitter may a minimum on racks.
Some do, some don't...just make sure before you pull the trigger or release the string.
