What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Wasn’t done today but over the last year
Bought a new wheel and tire setup trd pro wheels with 265/70/17 duratracs. Replaced all speakers, head unit and added some subwoofers, tail lights, grill, hard top tonneau cover.

Well I finally got my lights installed on my cap and rear bumper. Cap lights are 2 per side, Rigid Industries scene lights and the rear are the SR-M pro back up light kit. I have not wired them yet as I am waiting for locker and fridge wires so I can run them all up to the front at the same time. I have quickly tested (no pictures) the scene lights and they are great. I can't wait to get all of this stuff done.

I installed installed FRP shower board over the insulation in my cap. It's not perfect but it will help keep the interior cool and protect it from dents. I also put some grip tape on the sliders which is something I should have done long ago. They are much easier to stand on now and I don't have to worry about slipping off.

 

Where did you get the letter for the grill?

 

a seller or Etsy sells the assembly, not sure if they would sell just the lettering

I installed probably the coolest decal I came across... it's even reflective! Too bad the grammar could've been better but for $5 it's worth the laughs from my friends

 

What’s your spare tire set up? I’ve been thinking of setting up something like this but I don’t want damage the bed rails

 

Wilco Tundra tire mount, been running this for a couple of years now with no bedrail problems and I wheel my shit too. Works great.

 

A spare on the front bed rail is perfectly fine. A spare on the side rails is when you run into issues of cracking your bedside.

 

Agreed, front rail is a pretty solid place for highlift Jack's too.

 

Maybe one of those itty bitty ones lol I prefer a 60” and have used every inch of it.
