    Yes, a proper kayak with some good storage capacity is fun too.
    I've been building my own expedition kayaks for 30+ years. Much different that the Tuppperware boats sold in every hardware store or outfitter the past 10 years, even though they can easily handle a good day trip here and there. The DWGNRA is a solid choice for those boats.
    But we've always used solid craft with huge capacity for every condition and long term camping out of. And done the whole 100+ miles in a 3 day weekend
    Any way you go or how you do it.....its a solid trip.
    And its fun to watch the inner tube and rental canoe crowd.
    We have retrieved so many coolers full of cold beer, we wouldn't even take any knowing it would be easily supplied to us.

    That’s awesome, 100 miles, sheesh. And here I am thinking 30 miles in a weekend was a lot. I wish I could build my own kayaks.
