    Seeking issue with 2008 Tacoma starts but turns itself off in 3 seconds. Searched the web, first site up and it was a security issue. I left the keys in ignition and weeks later, today I tried to go to Walmart for supplies and started but shut off, like no fuel. Thanks and a very good site with answers.

    Left key in ignition for days, rural property and this truck is new to me.
    Started up and shuts itself off, 3 seconds tried again and did the same ,then 3rd time no fuel so it didn't run just cranked. Did Google search and found this site and search same for answers, MAF sensor or security issue.
