Track Mount

I am looking to install a dashboard track mount to my 2020 Tacoma. I am between the 67 Designs TacoRail and the Expedition Essentials Tacoma Track Mount.

I do not need the USB ports so I don't need the 3TPAM. I am only going to be mounting my phone, maybe a GoPro, so I don't need it to be super heavy duty.

I've seen both of them on various rigs on IG so I'm just wondering what everyone else thinks.

The DMM from TacoGarage is pretty good: There's a super useful installation tutorial on YouTube too.

 

I have the DSM from TacoGarage. It's just a smaller version of the DMM @boogie3478 mentioned. Pretty happy with it.

I have the DMM from TacoGarage. I am not particularly mechanically inclined and I found it really simple to install and it is rock solid. I suggest a RAM Mount for the phone.

 

I have the DSM mount with a 67 design phone mount! It’s flawless.

 

100% DMM from Taco Garage for me. You can pick your phone mount as you can get just about anything to mount to it. I use the one they offer and it's nothing special but works great.

 

DMM + Hondo Perfect Squeeze
Pricey combo, but I'm never going to want anything else.

I recently purchased a Ram ball mount, took off my radio dash trim, drilled a clearance hole for a 1/4-20 bolt, secured Ram ball mount with a bolt and washer.

The mount is very sturdy especially considering it is just for my phone and it cost me less than $10.

 

DMM all day. I was super nervous about popping off the radio part and drilling through it, but the instructions in the vid are spot on. Super easy, just take your time. Super clean too. My phone is pretty much the only thing up there with empty ram balls. Hes, feshicantaco or something on here, is making some low profile ram balls too. Excited for them
