    or precision instruments...Maybe a step down from CDI? The quality is pretty solid. I believe they make the snap-on torque wrenches. USA made. Just picked up this last week as an upgrade over my old craftsman:

    I’ve always been a craftsman guy but slowly I’ve been replacing with Tekon. I think their quality is great for the price and I LOVE that their socket and wrench sets don’t skip sizes. I remember the days of trying to sift through craftsman sets trying to find the one that had all the right sizes in 6pt. Tekon makes it easy.

    For power tools I’ve really enjoyed Ryobi. They are reasonably priced and great build quality. Their 1/2” 18v impact wrench was $100 and has taken anything I’ve thrown at it.

    Ive been carrying this around for years, maybe it came with the landrover we had in the 70s? thoughts? Honestly not a precision adjustable(if there is such a thing), but its a cool tool for the kit just because.

    FJ55. We lived in Connecticut and the frame and body rusted out in Just a couple years. The local dealership wouldn’t do anything about it. My father called Japan, and the next day it was picked up and we had a full refund. I guess rust is not a new problem for Toyota, lol.

    I’d email customer service and tell them you don’t have a local rep (last time I used them they basically had a check box for that) and see what they say.
    I’ve always been taken care of that route with warranty stuff but for an old tool they might refer you to a local vendor.

    Worst case maybe one of our regulars that has a good SO rep can try and warranty it for you and y’all can just mail back and forth. Kind of a hassle but have seen it done successfully when nothing else is an option.
