haha yea me too. Im starting a new plan to pay my house off in 6 years. But I need to divert some of that so I can pay the bike off sooner too. Always my goal to pay stuff off before the loan ends. Helps credit, and helps when getting another bike too

Welp...I just put 200 miles on the VFR today and went to look at that street triple I saw last week. Super clean, never down, only aftermarket stuff is mirrors, seat cover, and frame sliders. 23k miles. Dude was asking $4000 and dropped to $3500 in his initial response because his wife is motivated to sell.

I will be picking it up later this week so unfortunately these arent my photos of it at home...but heres a few teaser Craigslist photos:

I have done all of about 3 hours of research, but if I keep my VFR it is getting one of these. I have come to understand that the factory tune in early VFRs had some issues with the VTEC that I can certainly attest to. If you're just slowly rolling on the throttle through 6800-7200 rpms where the vtec is supposed to kick in, it actually feels like the bike looses power for a second. You have you have to be on it hard or not at all. Terrible RPM to ride.

Supposedly Honda fixed it. Newer models can reflash the ecu with a mapping from honda for under $100 bucks, but for my year VFR, a PCV is my best option. From what i have read about the power commander on my bike, it makes world of ddifference. Smoothes out the dead spot with many downloadable tunes or you can have a shop with the right gear tune it up perfect to your setup for an extra fee.

Lon story short. Power commander is a vehicle specific application so it means more to some bikes than others.

I have wanted this bike for a decade. You all just reminded me that now I can afford it and justify it.

    Thank you TW!
