    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Man these idiots just pulled up to a downed tree and left their shit in the middle of the road. There was a wide spot they could have parked in about 40 feet behind where their car is parked.

They're gunna trip when they come back and the downed tree is gone

I came across an elk hunter who had parked his pickup and camper in the middle of a two track. He had his trailer on one side and his quad on the other. And to top it off, when we drove around him he got mad and cussed us out.

I would have made some suggestions to him involving him going and fucking himself with a cactus, or some such.

Funny thing is... I hope that Subaru doesn't just decide to not turn around, now that the tree is gone.

    They wont wont make it.

And they'll get themselves a bunch of racing stripes finding out they wont make it.

That picture is 9 years old, he hasn’t logged onto Tacoma World since April last year so you might not get answer.

Looks like he put the answer in another thread in 2012:

Hook a strap through his wheels and a snatch block to a tree and drag his car off to the side.

Risky business posting a picture driving off trail on the internet these days...

Well, considering the alternative was an additional hour drive. We have a right of way to get through. If it was risky for anyone, It would be the Subaru for blocking the road.

Snatching it off the trail was discussed. But this was the most non invasive option we could come up with.

Was no further "off trail" than driving around a boulder or downed tree.

You would be burned at the stake for this in Colorado. It's interesting seeing the different mentality in different areas of the country. I'm sure elevation has something to do with it. Takes a lot longer to grow the higher up you go so damage remains much longer. Trees are a quick easy problem to deal with. Carry a saw and cut it off the trail so that everyone else doesn't need to go around it widening the road. I'm far from a damn hippy but following stay the trail practices is helpful in keeping access to these roads. To many greenies trying to make places wilderness areas.

In a letigious State like California... if we would have been hooked to that car when they came out of the woods, it would have probably been 50/50 that we were charged with vandalism if they took a picture.

I understand what you're saying, and I stay the trail by what ever means possible. But I'm not driving an hour out of my way, to get home, because some dumbshit left his car in the middle of the road.

Again, the 3 of us aren't rookies in the woods. We pow-wowed on what the best option would be. And I'm totally comfortable with how we handled the situation.
