haha no doubt! but every time we spend some money like that for an emergency I don't even consider what else I could have bought.

like if I have a vehicle issue and spend 500 I'll be like dang I could've done this instead...but for the doggos I don't even care or think about the money afterwards.

I'd spend whatever I had to on my dogs, they are just as much part of this family too!

It's hard to not think about $3k leaving my bank account lol.

I'd do it again if I had to, but i'm still going to think about it.

lol I get that, it's a lot, nothing wrong with thinking about it.

When I was like 15 and had like 600$ in my bank account. My sisters dog got hurt really bad and they had to take it down to Auburn, I drove straight to the bank and took every bit of it out and gave it to her no questions asked. Sadly the dog didn't make it, but it was worth every penny to try.

Dogs are pricey, I had a dog get into rat poison and didn't know it till symptoms started showing and that was like $1100. Reason I didn't know it is i'm assuming she got into it at a neighbors house or a barn when I lived in Clanton. I don't keep rat poison in the open.

It's cheap if you see them get into it with simple prescription, that happened to my brothers dog, but if you don't catch it till symptoms whew.

Girlfriends head vet Tech at her clinic so i get the extreme discount price on everything. Free Dog daycare and boarding as well. That aside i have spent some coin on my pupper as well. People never take in to consideration how much a dog cost and its really sad because a lot of Dogs suffer because of it.

Wow that was nice of you. What a good Brother.

I've spent thousands fixing two torn ACLs in my rescue pup. And I don't have spare thousands laying around.

What Vet, my girlfriend just started at the one on Rocky Ridge Road after leaving the one on 31 in Vestavia near Captain D's.

I would've saved a lot of money had her Vet been open, but with memorial day I had to use steel city emergency clinic.

Doesn't sound like fun at all. I meet everyday in person with all the foremen, superintendent and plant manager.

Are you close to Bluff Park? Bluff Park Animal Clinic has been very reasonable.

VCA Becker Animal clinic in Homewood. Wish i would have known. i could have gotten you the hook up at steel city. One of the head Doctors over there are really good Friends with me and my Girlfriend. Before Corona virus we'd go out and eat like once a week with her and her boyfriend.

I live near Indian Springs High School on 119.

That would've been great, the Vet at the place she worked called Steel City even on her off day and explained everything. Supposedly according to Steel City Vet the $1900-2000 was with a 20%-25% discount. Who knows.

The total worked out being more than $2k because we got xrays done at my GF's clinic before taking him to Steel City. So at least I saved there.
