my buddy invited me up to crash at their mountain home for a couple days.

His dog attacked mine out of the blue this am and they are going to have to put her down. She's had a pattern of aggression. His kids are taking it pretty hard. Fuckin bummer

Horrible shit right there. Dogs can do that randomly it's strange. Had a lab in the past who did that to my dad when he went to grab her. Put her down too the next day. Thoughts and prayers out to u all

Looks like you get to take your wheel liners off and join the muddy door jambs club

Just don't remove enough of it on the pass side to expose the air intake or you'll be in for a bad time the next time you drive through a small rain puddle

edit - nvm, didn't see that you were planning on lifting it more

Hmm, well if i dont get it on fast enough then i might end up doing what u just said. Im deckplated, so only use that side when its its plugged. I can still trim is out around there and ziptie it in place right?

yeah that's kind of how mine is, not zip tied but trimmed at the bottom because I was rubbing the pinch weld hard. The liners are the only thing stopping mud and dirt from getting in the door jambs for us which sucks but it becomes a regular part of your cleaning ritual after you get used to it

You can buy a circular saw for like $5 at yard sales and pawn shops.
