Tacoma air filter box is as big as the Tundra's 5.7l . I think they are adequate.

PTR0335160AE...CAI Flow Accelerator. Turn any stock CAI into a TRD Pro for $26.

Do as you wish with the filter...

I got it from canadian website motorwise.ca. not sure if they ship to states.

I wanted the HPS-57-1600 BLK, but they are like 250 plus shipping over here... You can go to vivid racing website and get one. Amazon sells HPS as well.

    Good luck.

Yep. Filter, accelerator tube and aftermarket tube and its the same or better than trd intake. Trd intake is 650$ over here... not sure for what though, those fancy red letters?

thanks on the fence about getting the TRD system as my daughter works for a dealer here and can get the system for $400. I have seen the hps on Amazon not willing to spend close to $200 on just the pipe Lol

If i had the extra cash, i would definetily get the trd intake, im sure its a good quality well made system. I just cant justify paying 700$ for some noise and better throttle response. Need to save my pennies for the sliders, all this aftermarket stuff is insanely expensive in Canada.

For example: trd exhaust with black tip is 1450$. I couldnt not believe when they said that.

IMHO, it’s only worth it if it’s a Volant Cold Air with RAM Intake and the Powercore Filter. There’s no resonator box to muffle the Intake sound and the Powercore is made for off road conditions.

Honestly, not that I’ve noticed. I didn’t do any good record keeping of the MPG or bothered to have HP measured. I’m sure there’s been some slight improvement, but I’ve since ruined it with the bumper/winch and it’ll only get worse once the lift goes on.

For me, it’s just for the sound and that high grade filter. I’ve since added a CORSA exhaust and boy howdy, this thing makes some noise. Every bridge or overpass I drive under gets a good talking to.

I never look under the hood unless there is a reason and I don't think its really pretty enough to warrant showing off to people so i'd rather have the 400.00 but that's just me. I mean yeah it does look cool so there's that

I bought it during the anniversary sale.

I regretted buying it after I installed it.

I didn’t really notice any functional change at all.

no change in induction sound and no change in power or torque.

having an oiled reusable filter is more hassle than it’s worth as well.
