Well it won't stay clean for long.... :)

Removing paranoia about an eggshell ass end opens up more dirty possibilities....

Hopefully customs get off their fat ass and clears all my camera systems soon, (lol been with them two weeks in the China pile).

Then I can add the CTC and Birdseye/DVR systems.
CTC cameras will be mounting in the new bumper to replace the CTA shit.

    We'll be "Bumper Brothers"

And to think I bought a new truck so I would not be working on it all the time.... :anonymous:

I have to say, parts counters at dealerships are one of the most hilarious/frustrating experiences. Somehow if you dont have a VIN then there is no possible way in hell they can find anything for you.

side note, and tips on where to look for tires? I need a new set some time this summer so im starting my research now. Costco seems to have decent prices.

I called every single tire shop in my little city to find the best price.

    It was that easy. :anonymous:

Still kinda looking around. As much as I want to say "Something awesome for off road", I know 99.99% of the driving will be on road. The eventual plan (when ive done lots more offroading) will be 33's, so I'm thinking find something 31"ish thats more road orientated, and then down the road i can get more aggressive 33's and keep these for the daily wheels. So 265/70/17?

I have a basic idea of what i want, I'm new to the truck scene so I'm still doing my research, my last car was from the stance scene and tires there are a little different (i had 205/40/17 on a 9.5" rim).

I realize the "what tires should i buy" is an impossible question to answer, so I was more curious if there were any good places to get pricing/stay away from, and I'll do the research on my own.

I'm going the other way, I've been there with other trucks. 31's they 33's then 35's they 38's then 42's its all a waste of money and time.
This build I'm going from stock to 35's and That's it... IFS will keep me to my word hear...

Point I'm trying to make just go to your 33's and be done or stay stock. Just an opinion is all..

Sorry, I don't think i was clear. the plan is to get some 31's that are more street orientated for my day to day driving, and then when the suspension is all done and such have 33's to swap to for trips. Keep the 31's for daily driving, and have a set of aggressive 33's for the off roading. i feel something slightly bigger than stock will look better when the truck is eventually not stock

@pete37 wadda ya know, I've got hook ups for mounting and balancing!

Call around, Canadian Tire, Active Green Ross, 1010Tires, Goodyear franchise store, Kal Tire, Pete37... Depending on brand, some stores will have better deals than others.

This plan will be too many hassles once you try it, even if you have a 2-post lift at home...

I am laughing, for 35s you'll need a lot of :spending: and :sawzall::welder: to fully use them.

    such as

    spindle gusset
    cab mount chop/relocation
    tab gussets
    shocks
    control arms
beat the crap out of firewall
spare cv for that time on the trail :bikewhoops:

and the never ending list goes on...

You making it sound all difficult..

    Take off small tires..
    Couple;
    - zips with the grinder,
    -Bangs with a hammer,
    -Zaps with a welder...
    - Dab of paint.
    Put on BIG tires...

If he budgets an extra 40 of Vodka,

He can lure the Russian truck squad over and he'll be done before lunch.

Know any Russians with a passion for pinch-welds?
