In CA you can basically only buy poppers and sparkler sticks legally, but every 4th of July in LA sounds like a war zone thanks to all the fireworks that come across the border lol. Past few years we just pick a trail with a high view point of the city from multiple angles and watch all the huge illegal fireworks go off all over the place.

Driving around on my lunch break, had to stop at this dealer when I saw the pair of 1st gens (trio if you count the Tundra). The 5 lug extended cab has ~90k miles and they want $8500. Was pretty clean, but still seems a bit high.

    1G_XC_White.jpg

The 6 lugger had a pretty rotten frame, had 155k and they still wanted $7700.

Frame was bad, could have poked a hole through it with my finger. Somebody is in for a bad surprise if they buy that without looking at the frame.

wtf, they shouldn't be allowed on the road like that.

My sister's tires (2 of them) had golf ball sized lumps in the sidewall over xmas...saw them when I was changing out a flat for her. Gave her an earful about it, she drove god knows how many miles on those tires with my nephew in the car too. She just didn't know any better. If you ask me I think a basic hands-on vehicle safety/maintenance class should be mandatory for anyone looking to get their driver's license, so many people are completely naive when it comes to things like that.
