Yea 61 shares of UAL. I was kicking myself for awhile for buying but can’t complain up 18% now

 

I've got 5 of $UAL and $DAL. I really wish I would have gotten some more a few days ago. I knew they'd start to climb again soon with things starting to open up. I may try and get in a few more shares and ride them out for a bit

 

I have a chunk of DAL bought for a long term (12mo+) hold - they may be flying through some turbulence but I highly doubt they'll crash.

 

Nope. And I'm okay with pulling the Buffet card and not investing in airlines even if they're having good returns now. There's so much else, I'm not gambling on airlines myself

At that point I'd just go into JETS they had about 3 years at $30 before this, they're at about 15 now. Pretty solid turnaround on capital gains plus a decent dividend (about 0.40/share). AAL LUV DAL UAL make up 40% of it.

JETS would be a smart one right now. If I was considering airlines, I'd do it. I am not going to invest in airlines though. So. Nope.

Questions on NRGU guys . It is an ETN and I have never owned one , are there any special tax rules for trading it ? I also see that ETN's may have daily and or redemption fees ?

Edit - I thought I never would but I bought a little TSLA today ahead of the rocket launch . TSLA is looking more and more like AMZN from $300 and up .

 

I don't think so, could be wrong but it doesn't roll a K1 so I think it's, as far as taxes are concerned, the same as owning any normal stock.

I bought 10 of UAL juuuust before Buffet pulled out. I'll probably hold onto it for a bit longer.

I got lucky with CAR. I've almost sold it a few times now, but every time I make up my mind to sell it it climbs again. I'll see how it's doing tomorrow and reassess

Anyone have a list of tanker names that the Saudi's chartered? I've seen a few references in the news to tracking the fleet, but I've only been able to find one name listed. Seems odd to me that nobody seems to know the names of the ships and yet somehow reporters are able to track them.

 

Still in NAIL & NRGU since last week, up 8%. Looking forward to seeing how the rest of the week plays out.

Everything I sold last week did well, nail, luv, mgm, dfs. But I kept dkng and that did well, so did a few others I was tempted to sell today. However, since I didn’t sell today those will be down pre market in the morning

 

That’s impressive on a day like today. How did you do it

 

My NRGU avg is 4.50 but my BABA was 212-.

Thats my all-time (< year) counting some failed stuff I picked up many months ago too lol - today only is just like +2.3%
