Yeah buddy! You still liking it? Can you make it street legal up there in Jersey? There is one for sale in Charlotte 2019 52 miles for $7600. Not street legal so I don’t know what hoops I would have to jump through.

No it's not street legal from the dealer. I have to jump thru hoops to make it legal. And that's the plan. But havent rode it yet this season I put about 15hrs on it last September when i got it. Now that the weather is warmed up I'm looking forward to riding it again. It's a blast to ride technically it's the first dirtbike I've ridden in over 15yrs and I'm way outta shape lol.
Also there's a website when I remember it I'll inform you but they take care of the whole process for you as long as you have a title for the bike to make it street legal.

Also that's a hell of a deal for a 19. I paid alittle over 8700$ for it from the dealer

    Lol called LaidLaw today.....

Inquiring about a stage 1 and if I brought them my TBR exhaust.. would they install...

    First was told no.
Then was told “ we install accessories “. So I asked to clarify..and he said “ we install accessories”.
Then was told the stage 1 was shit and won’t work with TBR. And that I needed a better tuner.

So I called TBR... and they laughed. And said “all of our exhaust come ready out the box, no need for tuners or air intakes. We design our exhausts with this in mind.”

so... I know I was sprouting a good amount about tuners and shit a few pages back... but now I’m really confused myself haha.

South dakota tag it. No hoops. Super simple process. Fill out an affidavit saying you added lights/mirrors pretty much, get it notarized. Mail it in. Get license plate. I have one for my 300xcw

    https://www.supermotojunkie.com/thr...nd-plate-for-any-bike.144432/?id=144432&amp=1

They just charge more for the same process you can do without them

Are you doing full pipes or just mufflers? From my understanding, if it’s just mufflers you don’t “need” a tuner. But with any modifications to the air/fuel flow you really should get one. With that said, I don’t have a tuner on with my Reinhart mufflers and I haven’t noticed anything different than from stock setup other than it sounding way better.

    what is stage 1 ?

    intake/exhaust/tuner?

What about a DynoJet Power Vision? or V&H FP3? or are these illegal in CA? Was this when @uhplifted was telling me that bikes get smogged?

Everything is illegal pipes wise in California other than stock lol. You can’t buy 90% of exhausts online. And if you can you have to call them up and say like “this is only for closed course/track use”

bikes do not get smogged here though.

stage 1 is as you said. Intake, exhaust, tuner.

My bike is technically illegal with the mufflers I bought.

Harley just wants him to buy all their Screamin Eagle stuff because it’s their brand and is designed to “be the best for a Harley” I don’t know the legalities but it can potentially void a warranty if you use other stuff. I could be 100% wrong there though so do not quote me on that. I don’t stand by the statement

We could. However, it’s not likely. I’ve never seen anyone pulled over for loud pipes on a motorcycle. But by the letter of the law, could definitely get a ticket.

Magnuson-moss law prevents them from voiding a warranty unless they can prove it was caused by the aftermarket part. Which would be annoying to fight though

Currently ride a '19 MT-07. Considering letting it go and picking up a Duke 790. @Sacrifice I know you're big on KTM, have you ridden one?
