Hopefully it will be a pleasant experience.
Solid luthiers are hard to find nowadays. Seems like a dying breed.

You get those pics? Wife would probably kill me. Looks to be in really good shape, most I see are pretty worn. Really have to think. If it goes, oh well. I should hit the local pawn shops..

Honestly, it looks pretty clean for a 36 year old guitar. A couple things concern me.

    It isn't in excellent condition.
    Pickguard isn't original.

And lastly (which he may not even be aware of are the screws in the locking nut. Which can be replaced with proper ones.

All and all, especially since he's shipping for free, I'd offer $375 and he'd probably counter with $400 if I was on the left coast. It would cost $100 easy to ship it here.

    Case is a bonus.

Well, thanks for checking it out more. I really don't want it that bad, they'll be others. Really wouldn't go more than 350 anyways. I'm feeling cheap today. Something local will pop up a some point I figure, no hurry on my part.

goodluck getting a charvel, carvin, or hello kitty. Because apparently every guitar becomes an instant classic. I apparently slept through a decade of escalating guitar prices. Guitar hunting was much more fun back in the day.

    Looking forward to it.

And I just might know where to find a hello kitty if I had an amp I might be more on it.
Of course if I had an amp Id already have a guitar guranteed.

Jonas I had a cord thatd buzz once, and anothertime it was the external nut on the plug in on the guitar that was loose and another the wire came off the inside of the cord plug on the guitar but that was all after years of thrashing.
    Never on a new one.
Hopfully the guy can dial it in tomorrow and fix it up for you.

    Best of luck

If you lived down the street you could have picked up this Mesa .50 caliber I have sitting here. Then I could slap some hello kitty stickers on my bass and we could write some songs.

    Kramers. Holy fck..
Some dude on my Kramer page just sold a non tilt Baretta for $6k plus.

Half tempted to throw my Voyager up on reverb for some ridiculously stupid price.
