@Tacotruck7 Suspension wise on the prerunner it originally had the Icon 2.5 coilovers on it with Icon 2.0? resis on the rear, which are now on the 4x4. That combo worked great out in the desert. Oh also had Solo Motorsports uniball UCAs. I beat the hell out of the poor truck for years with the stock shocks beforehand, one of the stock rears snapped eventually hahahaha. It's had a handful of mechanical work done to it since I've had it. The prerunner also has new throttle body sensors, new cats, power steering pump, steering rack, driver side tie rod... think that's it. Plus spark plugs and other general maintenance

Also, do you run new bump stops? I just kept my stock ones when I did my lift.

UCA’s aren’t looking too hot. Though when I pry them with a pry bar they are solid.

What’s the budget you’d like to work with?

And any “needs” aside from the added height?

Depends on your budget and your goals. Plenty of people run the big 3: fox, king, icon and plenty of people run bilsteins. All are great for different people's needs

@eccracer104 @Nicklovin I don't even know the budget hahaha but I'm willing to work around 1-2k. I don't really have any needs I'm just moving to Bear soon and I'd like to have a little more clearance for snow in the winter. What does everything usually run for?

Run an OME kit with Dakar’s then. It will bet you like 3” and be good for off-road. Or do 5001s with old man emu coils and Dakar’s. Then get some SPC arms or something. Don’t spend money on labor. Find someone help you install, it’s pretty easy.

Also I’d get good tires before anything. Tires first then lift imo.

    Checkout this OME kit -
    https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/store/p317/Old_Man_Emu_Kit_with_Add-a-leaf_-_2016__Tacoma.html

    This Elka kit -
    https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/store/p317/Old_Man_Emu_Kit_with_Add-a-leaf_-_2016__Tacoma.html

    And this Bilstein kit -
    https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/store/p401/Coil/Bilstein_5100_Kit_(HS16BK-1).html

Make sure to add an upper control arm option as well.

Look these over to get an idea of some of the different options, all three would be great choices for your truck.
The OME and Bilstein are “replaceable” while the Elka kit is “rebuildable”. So like ~75-100k replacement interval with OME or Bilstein. Elka needs a rebuild every 25k-50k.

Add a leaf will be sufficient and keep a more mellow ride in the rear.
You can opt for a full replacement pack if you’d prefer that option.

There’s at least one more option for upper control arms, SPC is carried by Headstrong but not an option in the drop down. You can always PM and ask if Marie can set that up for you. SPC is great, and a little cheaper than Dirt King or Camburg. Those two are solid choices too if you prefer.
Marie is great and can really help you get the right kit.

Whatever you buy let me know. Can come over to @TXpro4X4 pad and we’ll help you install. We did his fronts yesterday and his rears a couple weeks back. It’s easy
