Any guitar players on TW?

Yeah. The issues with both raising action and intonation is loosening/ bringing up to pitch.

I'm assuming your using a wedge when doing any work on your guitar.

Intonation always confused me till I heard a guy say. "All your doing is lengthening or shortening the string. Nut to 12/12 to bridge.
Idk way it always confused me before.

My strat head is ESP neck with sports body and painted by the one and only "Dennis The Greek Krostkos". Apparently he was a heavy smoker and set himself on fire on more than a few occasions at the new jersey factory. Lol..

 

Alot of people aren't pointy guitar people.
I love them. If I had my druthers, I would have one of these ESP Random stars or something from Akira Takasaki from "Loudness".

Both my 1984 Roadstars and my 81 Kramer Voyager.

 

Well I'm glad that you like it. I'm on a few other guitar gear forums. I also collect & play Hamer USA guitars as well. That's cool too but see we're all gear heads whether it's guitars, cars/trucks, women, etc.

 

I used to own an early Kramer Pacer guitar (rosewood neck, black body, 3 single coils, tortoiseshell pickguard, Rockinger tremolo bridge (POS!)). Used that guitar as an experiment until I sold it. Never could bond with it. I also owned an '81 Ibanez Destroyer II (cherry sunburst, gold hardware) and 1993 RG-570. I regret selling the Destroyer II guitar, but wasn't a pointy guitar guy any more. The '93 RG-570's neck got damaged by my ex bandmate's brother when he decided to walk off with my guitar at one of my shows and slammed it into something which cracked the headstock. I had the guitar repaired, but it was never the same after that. I ended up trading it for my first Hamer USA guitar, a '94 Diablo II guitar.
