For the wireless charging do you just flick the button on and place your phone on it and it will charge? I see two little lights on the left side of the pad but they do not light up, the button on the dash will light up when Pressed on. I don’t think it’s wirelessly charging my phone (iPhone XR) lol. My phone case is compatible (Lifeproof NXT) just got the truck. Didn’t get the dealer run down on new features. Help?

Yup that’s it. I think the color of the light changes when it is charging. It may be worth taking it out of the case just to be sure. I thought I would use it more than I do but now I generally plug mine in if I need to charge.

Mine works great. I Need to orient the phone So the screen faces up, and bottom of the phone is all the way to the right side of the pad. Try playing with the position of your phone to find the right spot, once you find it the light will turn on; and your phone won’t move because of the pad

With the otterbox defender case I have it will not work for me. I just plug mine in... My wireless charger that came with the phone works better than the one in the Taco.

    Minor stuff.
+1 with this. I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max with an Otterbox Symmetry case on it. It has to be in the right position to charge. If charging, the orange light will go on. It will change to green when fully charge. If you are using ApplePlay or bluetooth audio, it won't charge. The wireless charging pad is a slow charger. Better off plugging it into the USB port. I've had iTunes and Waze open and when I got to work, my phone was down to 80% from 100% (1 hr commute). Hope it helps.

Don’t ever use mine because it charges way too slow. My phone constantly loses connection with bumps and sliding around too. I always just use a cord.

Do you use any other app or just the audio. I know Waze and Google Maps eat the battery pretty fast. My Taurus had USB or cigarette plug power. When the phone was connected to Sync via USB, running iTunes and Waze, the charge was slow and most of the time the battery drained. But when plugged into the cigarette plug, it was no problem.

Could be my phone too. Between work email, texts, instant messaging services, constant messages, it never stops going off.

I only use the Bluetooth audio while driving, might receive some texts or calls, but I have all notifications turned off, I don’t care about that stuff. Charging with the usb cable is faster still but when I don’t have my cable, I can get an extra 25-35% in a half hour

    same shit as everyone else
I have zero problems with the wireless charger. Just toss it down and slightly to the right and it charges right up. Works with Bluetooth connection and even the heavy case I have on it. Only downside is it charges at a 1.2amp rate rather than a 2.4 you’d get from a cord coming out of the 12v plug.
