Hey guys, I have a question that hopefully someone can confirm for me.. I have the 16” TRD Pro “Baja” (beadlock) wheels. Will a center cap off of the 17” TRD Pro wheels work with them? I was under the impression that they would not.. but I came across a screenshot in my phone that makes me think otherwise. I wish more than anything I would’ve just quoted this guys post when I saw it.
First pic is my wheels, Second pic are the one’s that seem to have the center cap.

Unknown, but I'd be interested if there is a bronze center cap.

I’d be interested in trading my black wheels for Bronze ones, I love the bronze on black look

those TRD fake beadlock wheels only came in 16"

is this the 17" TRD Pro wheel that you are talking about?

Pretty sure the center cap will NOT work with the 16" fake beadlock

This is the one I was referring to because in the second picture, the center cap looks a lot like this one IMO. If this is not the one in the second picture, then I would like to know which one is. It certainly doesn’t look like the one that comes on the 16” fake beadlocks.
They just look different to me.. it could be that the guy who owns the wheels in the second picture just custom painted his. Unsure

Pretty sure thats just the original Baja center cap with a vinyl sticker over it. Gotta say though from the front it looks like they would be interchangeable

@Island Cruiser or any of the regulars over in the Baja thread may know for sure.

The 17” look to have some “spoke” looking things rather than just a circle, but I’d be willing to bet they still attach the same way. May just need to get with a buddy of mine with the 17” wheels and see if it’ll fit.
Thanks for the link to this thread!

I looked at it, nothing older than 2013 pulls on the fitments. My wheels are stock on 2011. Still could be possible, but would be hard to confirm.

buy one and test fit - its just $10. Or get measurements and call the dealer and see if they can check. Id go off of 05-20 Toyota Hubs are the same (at least for Tacoma..)

Also 13 Baja and 11 TX Pro have the same wheel. I dont think the center cap changed

I’m on my phone right now so I can’t do it, but somebody on a computer should do a google image search for the 2nd pic.

Yep, the wheels in the 2nd pic are essentially the same wheel but in bronze(face). The center caps have vinyl over the lettering and are likely painted around it. The trim rings are powdercoated or painted. If those were listed as 17’s, then they are replicas

They weren’t listed as 17’s, I was referring to the center cap off of the 17’s.

I’m awake now and better understand your question. I have no idea if they do. I don’t know of anyone who tried

I’m also on the hunt for coloring the beadlock center cap, black.

I just ordered a set of decals on Etsy. I’ll report back when I get them in.
