I know my county in PA is entering the yellow phase in a few days where some things are opening but avoid groups over 25 people. We recently started easing back into it, visited some family in NJ but I guess technically shouldn't be doing that yet I have no clue lol

Yeah that would be a hike, I'd be in pain if I rode my SV that long lol. You can trailer it to my place if you want

I think that’s an area where I need improvement. I’ve spent as much as two hours without even getting off the bike... no wonder my brain gets fried!
That’s hours of constantly scanning and watching for threats. It’s just a ton of data for the mind to continually process.

I will start taking breaks.

My level of fatigue varies based on which bike I am riding. I can go for days on the FZ-09 or CB500F because of the upright/ ergonomic seating position. The Ducati Monster and Thruxton have a much more forward leaning position so I generally have to take a break after an hour or two. The Bolt just sits in my garage. I should probably sell it.

Ya, get off the bike. Take a breather. Grab some water, take a piss, what have you. Then hop back on. It definitely helps

I test rode the 48 special and it was actually pretty comfy for me. But the I went on a street bob and it was game over.

the 48 Special has mini apes from factory, but chrome on the engine (and harder to change to black)

The 48 has black engine, but chrome/polished rocker covers - much easier to change to black

This is my bike (I really need to get more pictures, since I keep posting this one). The mini apes I put on are 7.5" rise. I should try to get someone to take a picture of me sitting on it for comparison

Were you asking for comparison pics of the 48 and 48 special? Or the 48 and the street bob?

his bike is a little bigger as well. Different "class" of bike. I have a Sportster, and his is the new M8 Softail. (which I used to have also. Had a Softail Slim, but it was "too big" for the type of riding that I do.)
