Someone still had a worse day at some point. Snow started around 2500 ft and didn’t proceed past 3000 ft. Good times with a bit of shooting and mud lol. Hopefully the CV issue doesn’t make me bite my tongue. Lots of people out on Mt Loop.

So I might be down depending on this CV. Seems fine after popping it back on but going to keep my eye on it. Got some battle scars from adventuring too hard lol

*Edit boot slipped off again really quickly. Will need more attention it looks like.

I'm a maybe right now. But if I do go I know a guy in my hood that might be interested too.

I decided to go look under my truck and I have torn and leaking boots on both sides. One inner and one outer. Going to do the CVJ's soon.

Does anyone know the turn around on this, I think you have to ship in your OEMs right? Going super fast on the trails yesterday I am kind of interested in going long-travel but worried about the skinny trails we have here in WA but know its a quicker project than full SAS.... long-term obviously.

yeah, I returned my HFT jack stands today. I was going to just ask them to exchange them but they were all out because of the recall so i took the store credit, bought a cheap set of wrenches for my truck tool box and some wrench organizers for my big one, and called it a day. within an hour i had already found a solid and reasonably priced set of USA made 6 tons on craigslist. they're made by American Forge and Foundry. I did some research and they are still in production for a pretty reasonable price too, especially for USA made jack stands. very happy with them. the difference on these compared to the Hazard-Fraught:rofl: ones is night and day. Even the design of the teeth, not to mention the casting quality, is worlds better. if anyone's interested i can get some more detailed pictures but here's the quick one I snapped after i got home.
    upload_2020-5-26_20-50-34.jpg

And because i feel like showing off:rolleyes:, here's my wrench drawer that i re-organized:D. I picked up a stamped metal one for my SAE combination set, and purchased a plastic one for my open ends. I figured that i could trim the plastic one since i didn't need all 16 slots and it worked out perfectly. I wanted to keep my offset wrenches in there too but i just didn't have the space... so i threw my cheap ass digital calipers in that spot instead. Might've had space if i wasn't so intent on keeping my whole SAE set in there (ranging all the way up to 1 1/4" i think) but oh well. that one shiny Husky 1/2" one is bothering me though. Might have to start browsing ebay for an actual Cornwell one;).

Just an FYI but American Forge and Foundry (unless they have changed their ways which I doubt their parent company would allow) is an American company but most of their products are from China (jack stands for example). Though the ones you showed are old enough to probably be actually Made in USA. Their parent company (Sunwerks or something) is quite big in the import game. They own Jet, jackson welding, and some others. Still good import stuff though

Anyone have a car trailer they wont be using for like two weeks in Mid-June? Debating buying one but if could "rent" it would rather just do that. Dual axle with brakes (7k)
