I’m interested. My superhero of a lady took a paramedic job in Bastrop. We are looking for trails to ride and rifle ranges to hang out at.

Got a bit nervous. We got pelted in Central Austin on Sunday. It was pretty sunny like it currently is and within maybe 15 minutes BAM!

I heard about that a co-worker of mine got soaked somewhere on the green belt on Sunday.

    Wouldn't you like to know!
Lone Star Gun Range in Lockhart TX is awesome! Not too far from Bastrop. If you head east on 71 just past Bucees on 95 and you see a sign for Tahitian Village there's a dirt road just before the big Blue sign that has Gas/Food/ Rest stop info on it you turn down that road and enjoy! I would recommend going with someone who has been there before and be careful! Trucks get stuck and flooded a lot there from the mud pits.

Thanks, and I have not, I didn’t know there were trails over there. I haven’t really done any wheeling in the Tacoma, the only place in the Central Texas area I’m familiar with is Hidden Falls, I used to ride quads over there.

We're a pretty active, friendly group that used to do a monthly meet before the 'rona hit. We'd show up at Cars and Coffee (first at the Oasis, then at COTA) with anywhere from 40 to 60+ rigs. Folks would bring their flat-tops and we'd make tacos, Chad would hug everyone and say "I love it" a lot, and of course everyone would take pics. Then we'd laugh at the Jeeple.

    Good times.

After the last couple of shows, I think we should find a rotating meet that
    A) doesn't cost us $5
    B) doesn't surround us by the Jeeple (and other assholes like the Ford "single-vehicle-accident-club")
    C) Better permits us to "be ourselves"

    So...probably the mall.
