I think timing played a roll, as I think their first bumper was the front bumper for the 12-15 2nd gen Tacoma, the first front bumper for the redesigned 2nd gen. I could be wrong though. That and the growing popularity of social media at the time.

Too bad we cant add more vendors that arent on the list (RCI, Tyger, SteelCraft, Go Rhino, Westin, etc) and remove vendors from the poll that no longer exists (Pelfreybilt)

I wont be removing pelfrey despite their atrocities. The poll question is favorite brand. Even though they fucked alot of people over id still say their front bumper was my favorite design of all the companies. As for adding some brands ill need to comb through some that everyone said in the last 3 pages and add them in. The benefit of the poll is you can change your vote. So that goes to show that everyone still votes pelfrey as a favorite based on design. Otherwise they would have changed their votes.

Anyone hit anything with an aluminum bumper?

I'd love to see how aluminum does vs steel

This one was aluminum. Looks like the welds at the frame mounts give.

    Anyone else have OCF bumpers?
Would they qualify for this thread? Not exactly plate, but tubular steel. IMG_20200318_1855182.jpg

Ill add any company that makes a non plastic bumper. The thread is mostly about impacts to show how well they did, or did not protect. The poll is just a way for people to show what their favorite brand is as a way for people looking to buy one to get an idea on brands to look at.

Furthermore if i remember reading correctly tubular bumpers are stronger than plate steel.
