    Castaic on the lower lagoon. Look at some of the local parks that have lakes, like mile square park has 2 of them. Yorba Linda has one also and many more I haven't mentioned, there is always bass, they stock with trout in the winter and catfish in the summer.
    Dixon lake and wholford down in san Diego county.

    Man I have a few 5500/6500 Garcia’s I can’t do anything with em other than live bait or cat fish , fished too long wit a low profile Feel way award

    I remember back in the day my dad shelling out big bucks for a team Diawa

    The 5500's are a little too big for everyday use, I rarely use them. But like you said, good for catfish, stripers...anything with a large, live bait.
