I'm happy with a 4 second 0-60 and 120mph top speed. Quick enough to get you out of trouble but not so quick it can tempt you into a lot of trouble.

I really like the Duc 939 SP, it's a little pricey tho lol. I think at some point I'll want a supermoto. Do you like Husqvarna? 701 is a good bike

Don’t you worry I am keeping the grom. Definitely did some curb hoping at the local college campus a couple weeks back.

I personally would NOT do a wr450f on the street for anything other than connecting trails off road. Its not a bike that is going to take kind to lots of higher speed street use especially without a 6th gear. Even the KTM/Husky 500's i wouldnt recommend for anything other than connecting trails. That stated, you wanna get tickets around town, done... it will bring out the hoon in you, there is a reason why i have not gotten a set of super moto wheels for my street legal wr450... just too much fun.

they both do pretty well on the street. we used to go down to arkansas and rip the twisties for 300 miles a weekend. 500s and 450s with us. none of the bikes ever had an issue. granted i wouldnt want to use them to ride 70mph down the highway for multiple hours but wed easily rip at that speed on some of the intermittent roads

Oh absolutely a hoot n fun time in stuff like that. But with oil change intervals so low its best to stick to dirt riding n connecting trails if you dont want to be replacing tops ends left n right. I have no problem doing 200 mile days on the WR450 with half of that being street, in the middle of the desert, that stated, crusing speed is 55mph and thats with +1 tooth up front and -1 in the rear. But oil changes are every 10-15 hours on my WR450 and even with synthetic it comes out looking nasty (only holds 1L of oil)

Buddy had a 690SMC and gawt DAMN that thing was a BLAST.
