ESI. (408) 980-1711. They are in Santa Clara.

I know a couple of brothers who are working there. FWIW, they are both Toyota owners though not on here.

It was open this last weekend. Was there on Sunday messing around at the east entrance.

Still a lot of snow on the trail as you get deeper from that side. Was almost able to make it to Cadillac hill but had to turn around.
Should be a lot better after a few more weeks or so.

    Thanks for the update.

Might be an out and back trip for us from loon. Don’t really want to deal with snow.

I’d like to get all the way through but we’ll see how it goes. Potential for more precip this weekend.

    Don't blame ya.
There were some pretty large "puddles" from all the snow melt. It'll prob be sloppy out there until all the snow completely melts away.

LOL lucky man...right when I was leaving that spot a Land Cruiser came in so I guess he also saw the red 1st gen and turned back around. Or did that Land Cruiser post up near by?

Went to Barrett lake this last weekend as well to check it out.
It's closed but I walked up to the trailhead to check it out.

There were some downed trees just after the start of the trail. I'm sure there could have been more further down.
Hopefully FS can clear them and open it up soon!

A chainsaw is something that i've been wanting to get for a while.

What size do people typically carry?

https://www.stihlusa.com/products/chain-saws/homeowner-saws/ms170/ I have something similar to this. It's pretty small compare to others but I love it!! easy to throw back in the bed. For big tree I would have to make multiples cuts. Gets the job done when i'm out gather firewood.
