The BRWNTRD (Hasn't flopped yet)

I'm not really interested in the RXT's. Really just torn between the Deaver stage 2 and stage 3. On trips I'm probably in the stage 3 weight but for around town as a DD I would be in the stage 2 weight range.

 

Talking to Deaver they said you should pick a spring based on what you care about more. Since my truck is used mostly as an adventure rig and less as a DD I went camping loadout.

I've heard that before also. Maybe from you who knows. If I can keep working from home then my truck would really become more of an trip vehicle. Wish my boss could just tell me I can make it permanent instead of having to get approval from above her.

And the rear still in the truck cause I don't want to completely scratch it up before I install it. It's a bit heavier than the other pieces.

 

Those red swingouts are damn loud!

Pulled the engine air filter to clean out any dust that accumulated and found a few surprises.

The sticker from the new fender liner

Some rocks and sand hanging out in the intake tube


And a large amount of dust in the filter itself


I'm not going to repeat a mistake from the Black truck and add an oilable filter

Oiled filter and dusty shenanigans mix poorly.

im running 4” lift in the rear and 2” up front. Only adjustment is a cb drop and no vibes

 

I just swapped leaf packs myself, having to deal with this for the first time ever. Saggy all-poos never did it, even new. Seems to be just on a stopped start.

 

Yeah, same for me, if I accelerate from a red light I get a bounce in the rear.

Thanks to @Tombiology70 and his BIL.

Still need to wire the winch. The stock bracket from Warn for the control box isn't compatible with the Demello bumper despite being room for it. And I haven't moved the battery yet which is the final plan.

Also need to trim the fender liners and get adapters for the fogs, the 15 has different plugs than the 11.

And this happened this weekend. Should have spent the time installing the skids. The irony is strong.
