Takes a couple seconds on each rivet with a drill to drill the rivets out. I prefer this over bolting because I don’t need to squeeze my hand in the bumper to hold the nut from spinning. I had a magnet mount once upon front. That’s how I lost my plate haha

    inspiration

Seat deletes are approximately 20-3/4" front to back and 25-1/2" wide on both drivers and passengers sides.

I haven’t, and I wouldn’t use that for a battery box. That’s just brazing, the two pieces of metal aren’t actually fusing together like in welding. I haven’t done the research on it but I would question it’s strength to hold a heavy battery.

The current box is a plastic battery box in my bed. Not the main box in the engine bay. I guess i could make one out of steel, but I feel like that would be too much for just holding a battery.

In his video he patched an aluminum gas tank

Ah I thought you meant main one. Nothing wrong with overkill by making one out of steel. It’ll be cheaper in materials and you don’t need to buy more tools to do it. Just my opinion.

Exactly, then fumble while trying to drive away since it’s a manual.

:boink:this thread needs to wake up I'm bored. I've come to the conclusion that we need to make some wheeling trips before the beach.
