What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I had those too, I think they were 5500? They were to blue for me so sold them and bought the philips 4800 I believe it was and the blue is gone and it’s not yellow either. They were a bit more expensive though

this also reminds me I still need to install my custom stealth mounting brackets!

Thoughts… I believe the hype is more exaggerated. I bought the alumn filter then I change my oil (1st on truck), didn’t have an issue with the plastic filter coming off and I torqued all to spec. I never installed the alumn filter but this next upcoming oil change will be a test but I believe if each part is torqued to spec it won’t be an issue. Now if those use the Toyota care oil change then ymwv.

 

I'm sure I'm late to the party but mine wouldn't work with one of the cables I had so I swapped it out and it works fine. Anyone having issues may want to try a different cable and that may make a difference. Just a thought.

Sounds like you have a good deal there. I'm sure you will like the Colorado just as much as the Tacoma. I just can't believe that they total yours like that.

One of the good things for me about Toyota is they gave me a 0.9% rate for 5 years. I had $32k down with my trade. My note is $110 a month. I wanted to just pay it out but my asked me why with a rate and payments that low. I just hate having a note. It's just funny as hell to me when I hear these young guys that work for me say their truck note is $800 a month. Glad it's not me.
