What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I switched to the unholy mount only because I don't like my view being obstructed.

 

Set an appointment for the 3rd to have the entire exterior rhino lined as the scratches from desert shrubbery are continuing to take their toll.

 

A little bit of some rack action. Now need to figure out a cheap way to mount these faux maxtrax. Saving up for an RTT eventually (maybe) we will see.

CAUTION, Rant:

More and more, my first officers are mounting their iPads to the windshield with these stupid suction cup mounts. It drives me crazy and the company supports it saying it increases situational awareness. I’m sorry, if you need an iPad to be aware of your situation, get out of the cockpit. Situational awareness starts with the ability to see out the window.

Added a TRD skid plate and tested it out on our family journey today to a very remote Lake today halfway between Reno and Sacramento deep in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. 4x4 was a must. Had the lake all to ourselves due to how remote it was and what kind of vehicle you need to get there. This Tacoma never disappoints me!

That looks really good. Did you shave down the plastic mounting tabs on the sub plastic panel? Also, does not being able to see out the rear/side windows ever bother you?

 

Installed the morimoto xb headlights.

 

Are you sure those 2O cables will be able to supply both those 30A fuses???

I'm going to relocate some lighting switches to the overhead console. When I do that I'll hard wire it in and the parking monitor activated.
