Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

With some of the questions people ask on here, that are in the first post or on the website, I can only imagine the types of emails there are.

 

Maybe hire people who have only specific tasks instead of a jack of all, master of none.

 

I have experience on the website development side. From what I could see upon checkout you are running your store with Shopify. That’s what I use for my store and I developed it entirely. I would be willing to help out on my free time but I still don’t have any experience with flashing with your software or with any of your past or present products.

 

I’ve been following the thread and patiently waiting for 31-33 04A61. Looking forward to it. Thanks @OVTune and everyone answering questions on here.

 

@OVTune having the same problem here. Ticket opened, dongle sent in with letter containing my info. No reply thus far. Any update? As is, I now currently have absolutely no tune access, dongle or otherwise, and would appreciate the ability to use it again. I'm just waiting for my P5F info for trading in my dongle.

 

If you can set up a good website with shopping cart software, the tune will be a walk in the park.

 

This has happened to me when I was stock and also with 4.88's installed and on 1.04 through 2.0 beta tune and stock. It still happens everyday. It goes away once the fluid is warmed up to operating temp. I even drained and replaced the fluid at 20k miles (currently at 42K) and added an additive for noisy transmissions. No help at all.

I’ve dealt with it for many years at my old job, people truly want you to hold their fucking hand and give them a cookie while doing so. It’s unreal. I can image the stupid shit that Mat has to deal with, it can be frustrating as hell and very time consuming.

80/20 rule and all that.

 

Daryl, don’t see where anyone responded, but you’re probably on the old flash manager. Go here and download the new one. Make sure you update it from inside the flash manager as well.

It's part of the cost of doing business unfortunately.

 

The reason people are complaining is because they are impatient..... you have a great product that makes them that way. I’m happy with the beta and can’t wait for the final too but everyone must think back to when their truck was stock and really sucked ! Be patient and enjoy life !

 

yeah I know. As unfortunate as it is, those customers generally cost you more time and effort than the profit you make from selling to them. Gotta take the good with the bad I reckon.

 

it is not impatience there is some genuine confusion because we spread our info out a bit too much.

For what it’s worth, I sent a support ticket a week or two ago, requesting a new registry key for flash manager, since I got a new laptop.

I got the new key in less than 24hrs.

Thanks. That's the last thing I tried actually. Ran as an administrator, etc... Need to troubleshoot more.

 

Customer service representatives can alleviate this problem...
