I dunno, that looks stuck deep for a first time rescue. Is it?
I have zero experience past watching a video.

Ya that’s pretty stuck I bet they need a tractor or backhoe to get out.

Man, I wish Jerry was still with us. He was the only other Lockhart guy, and had a tow business for a while. Could use his experience, RIP. I think I'm too chicken to tackle that mess - plenty of tractors out in that area!

If you could get a snatch block and park yourself on a hard surface it’d take a while but would work.

I see the dirt road is probably hard, if it would hold the truck. I didn't buy a snatch block for my kit, as I figured I'd never be by myself in that bad of a situation. :anonymous:

Gotta make that winch earn her keep. You should go for a drive. You might surprise yourself.

BTW, snatch block is good for doubling your pull power not just self recovery. Pull speed is cut in half but its twice as easy to pull.

    My surprises normally aren't good.
If I had a partner in crime, I'd consider it. They look deep for a first time try, and I know what that black clay is out here. If they were bright enough to drive on that pristine field after all the rain last night, I wouldn't expect a lot of experienced help getting them removed either.
I'll let them find a tractor, lots of farms and big trucks out there.

Now, if it was one of our TTC folks, or a Toyota, I might go be stupid and call for reinforcements! Not to mention wife would kill me for getting near strangers....

There is atleast 1 truck on site to attempt rescue.

Nice. 4runner oem coils to me are too soft for towing. Dobinson coils will fix that problem. Plus dobinsons paired with my billys will be soo much better and ditch the rear spacer

They could just get the aluminum bars that strap on to the tire and widen the tire foot print to climb out.

They are called Truck Claws. We have them on the buses in case we park off road and get stuck.
