    Gross. Shaw. Buddy of mine in Weapons is there and hates it.

    I went through there once to pick up fighters to drag overseas. Place was terrible. I hope you enjoy it, 11 years worth of it.

    Former F-16/A-10 crew chief here. Got our a couple years ago after ~14.5yrs. Definitely not the easiest decision, but the right one for myself and my fam.

    Anyways, if anyone here needs help discussing their transition to becoming a civilian/nonner feel free to reach out... I am always trying to help folks get the support & guidance TAPS didn’t give me.

    I was at McConnell for 10 years. Got a sweet assignment to KC-46 in Seattle for 4.5years and got bored. Went to Incirlik for a year, now at Travis.

    Avionics/Sensor System Maintainer 95-99 (only 4 yrs...pop tart)
    Worked AC-130H/U, MH-53J/M, MC-130 Talon 1 & 2 out of Hurlburt Fld, FL Traveled a bit o_O
    Got out and have been working with lasers ever since...from little tiny LRF to a massive 150kW monster they wanted to put inside aircraft.

    Funny I just found this thread as well and saw this post. Got out after 8 yrs in the navy and worked on MH60S. Now work on duke field, FL. You’re right down the street from me!
