    Looks like 8.6% off MSRP. Not a great deal like some have been getting, but not a bad one either. I would also take into account that cement seems to be in high demand and you're getting 0%. To me that makes up for the lower percentage off MSRP then most have been getting. Depending on how much back and forth you've had with the dealer, it couldn't hurt to counter with a number closer to 10-11% off MSRP. Although, I personally would be pretty happy where you were at if cement was my first choice and the options were what I wanted. Just my 2 cents.

    Got an online quote from South Coast Toyota in Costa Mesa for a 2020 Tacoma SR5 Double Cab V6 shortbed, white. This fool was about $3500.00 OTD over MSRP, I mean really...

    This is the SoCal market. I got a quote from a local SoCal dealer that listed a $2995 "market adjustment" due to inventory. Crazy

    I know how you feel! Went through an associate, salesman, and finally the manager at several OC locations.

    Not terrible but I would think that if you were to take that offer to some other dealers then you could probably do better. Maybe not. But like the other guy said if it’s exactly what you want then might be worth it.

    Another dealer offered me 41.9K OTD w/ 0%, but they said they need to locate one so it's hard to take their word on it right now. Thanks everyone for the advice, I'll see how this plays out and report back.

    Leave OTD/tax, title etc out of it. Makes comparisons easier. MSRP-pre TTL sale price=discount

    Looking to grab my first tacoma, specifically a 2020 TRD OR 4x4 manual, in south florida. My main asks are manual transmission and leather, they said they would throw in the leather seats for $1k. Apparently there are only a couple with manual transmissions in the SE region, but I'm also not in a rush. Planning on taking advantage of the 0% for 60 months.

    This is the first dealership I reached out to and have not begun to negotiate or shop other dealers. Thoughts on the attached? I'm not exactly sure which values to use to calculate the % off from the MSRP, as i'm learning anything close to 15% is a killer deal. Appreciate it in advance.

    $35,335 - MSRP
    $1,099 - Options
    $1,120 - manufacturer fees

    $37,554 - Subtotal
    $899 - dealer fees

    $38,453 - Total
    =============

    My price = $34,901

    Worth noting that one doesn't seem to have the LED headlights, which were added in 2020 (but would add $485). Seems like youre at ~7% discount, I'd think you could do a little better. If my math is right, 34k would put you at 10%, and 33,000 at 13.5%ish, so I'd probably shoot for somewhere in there (33-34k).

    Also I'm really only working w/ MSRP (truck + options + destination) and ignoring that dealership fee. I'd probably try to get that significantly reduced or removed, but I think that's a "varies per state" thing. I think I paid $100 doc fee in the PNW.

    What is the MSRP of the truck? Does this number include the 1750 rebate? If that is before the rebate and they can get the same truck then jump on it. just be careful because they were going to try and throw in some fees, etc, A warranty at a grossly inflated cost. Know what the sales number is and what your final out the door number is going to be before you even sit down so that you know that both those checkout and they haven’t snuck anything in.
