I will say after about 300 miles on my bias plys they are getting much softer. I can now twist the lugs with hardly any effort.

Can we get some pictures of the chopping that needs to happen? My 35’s are getting to the point of possibly replacing. Have a body mount relocate, beat the shit outta the body and I’m waiting on a 1” body lift

I think it's different for everyone and how far they are wanting to take it and if they are going to limit up travel with bumpstops or tub the wheel wells.

@ovrlndkull is right, it depends alot on your setup. If your LT or mid travel, and what wheel offset you have, and what tire you go with.
From my experience having a skinnier trackwidth helps take alot of rubbing off the firewall but transfers it to the frame. If you don't want any rubbing at all. You have to tub and go wide.
Like with 35s the big issue is the firewall but once you get that sorted the tire hits the fenderwell on uptravel.
Let us know how the 1inch body lift goes. I think it will help rubbing on uptravel but I still think you will have to tub/hammer alot or have a small bumpstop spacer.
37s take alot more work than 35s, and will probably kill your steering so start looking at upgrades.

I'm running a 1" body lift too but I did mine for different reasons. Just a side benefit is more clearance for the dirty7s.

not my experience at all. I had 35s on, switched to 37, I cleared 37s after only adjusting my caster forward. I had allpro LT. I didn’t tub. I rubbed at the top of the tire but No firewall

    it’s the secret

uptravel is my biggest worry, this is my current setup. I’m hoping that the 1” body lift will get the rear section of the wheel well out of the way a little bit.

What happened to his trep? I sliced one on the bead Sunday and it was the first trip out on them.

Like I said, it all depends on your setup. 1st,2nd and 3rd gens are all different in thier own ways. Sometimes you do the buy once cry once method, while others make it work with as little as possible. Seems like you put in alot of work to fit 35s with your setup and were able to step up to 37s fairly easily. Some people like me made 35s work fairly well and decided to jump into 37s and redo alot of work that i did for 35s. Everyone builds their truck differently and especially when your throwing some massive tires under it, there will be alot of ways that people will agree and disagree with. Myself I won't be doing a body lift because of the disadvantages it comes with. But I'm still learning what works with these 37s and I'm excited to see what everyone else does. Good luck @Usethe2nd , post some wheeling picks when you get there.

The road he was on gave out, and he flopped his jeep about 10 feet down off the side of the road. Recovery took 3 days and 4 winches. Blew two tires off the beads, and wrecked one. They were pretty worn anyway, so one will be the spare and the spare is still new
