Sounds like a good idea! As long as it looks "normal".

The only thing that ever bothered me about the vortex sparc was how they mounted the emitter diode. It always left a slight bump in the fov, where it was not perfectly circular.

For less money than the sparc, I have consistently chosen the primary arms MD-ADS. FOV is clear, dot is a respectable 2moa and as sharp as the sparc.

I have to take exception with a Smith and Wesson AR!

They are gateway AR's and like 1911's, they multiply on you.

Case in point, I bought a Smith and Wesson Sport just because the laws were going to change.

I now have 4 and am working on the 5th kne.

Smith and Wesson is nothing more than a gateway AR!

Those coms would be more effective if they weren’t inert training ones. :D:boink:

He was joking about the deep blue color, it’s common for inert firearms and knives for training be made of the blue plastic that looks similar to that.

    So, I've got this idea...

I ordered a ETS clear mag for my XCompact.. and I really want to mill a window/slot in the grip..

    I think I'm going to order a 2nd module...

They look real enough, but just like @95 taco said, it’s the universal color for an inert training aid. I don’t doubt that they work just fine.

My Savage Mark II 22LR might be my favorite gun I ha e ever shot. I had a blast using it to pop rotten potatoes with a friend last weekend.

I'm tired of ARs. Have owned several and built 1, kept only my DD M4V5, and carry an M4 every day. My 22 comes out to play most often and may get a can soon as well. I think it's been a year since i last shot my personal AR.

I can't go to public ranges anymore either, as shooting paper, especially without movement or drawing, is now painfully boring. I'd like to get into USPSA but don't have the time right now. I just want to shoot rotten food with my 22 once in a while.
