List of swapping limited chrome options. Need more ideas or sent in the right direction.

So long story short, chrome sucks IMO. Got a fantastic deal on a limited and couldn’t pass it up.

So far searching on tw, I’ve found the following options.
Vinyl wrap- if anyone knows precut pieces for this job, let me know.
Buy new parts- I’ll buy new mirror caps, but not spending 280$ on new handles.
Plasti dip- don’t like the idea of it possibly getting too hot and sticky weird like I’ve seen in the past
Swap- would be hard to do, being without door handles.. assuming the other persons weren’t on the vehicle already.


anyone have any other ideas?

Yeah it’s really the door handles that baffle me on what to do. I didn’t see Meso selling anything to black them out.. hell my truck is silver, if I could just pop the chrome off and put silver on it.. but I saw someone try and it snapped some stuff inside that was glued..

Sick thanks, yeah it would still leave that chrome strip on top. I’ve never vinyl wrapped anything, but I’m assuming I could leave the handle on and do it... thoughts?

 

Yeah it's easier and cheaper to just wait. Month or two I'd imagine. You can post an ad in the BST section and maybe someone will trade ya. I got lucky and a guy wanted chrome so we traded.
