To add to this, check with Marie if she has some of the old clearance (older gen) stuff lying around.

meh, don’t want older stock. Would rather have the latest and greatest if I’m dropping $2k on front coilovers. I sent her a couple messages already, just waiting on a reply.

Does anyone have any technical info on the clickers? Are they similar to King where they basically just adjust mid-speed compression?

If you are looking for custom stuff, talk to Matt at MCM Fab. I've found him to be very knowledgeable and helpful and will offer a competitive deal.

If best pricing is most important, Headstrong can help with that. They do best with the standard stuff that ADS produces the most of.

Thank you so much for the recommendation @Supra4x4!!!

We do have our kits which have added discounts built in. If someone is looking at only a front or rear set up or doesn't see the exact kit they would like we can custom build an order with discounted pricing :)

    Hey guys,

I'm looking into swapping my 700# coils for a lighter spring rate. I have the spring compressors... what's the process for removing and installing new coils?

    Thanks!

I will be doing this too (14” 650’s) when I send them in for a rebuild. Curious to see how yours turn out

Yeah, I've got some emails into Accutune to determine if I need 600# or 650#. My guess is I'll be going with 650#.

I'm hesitant to do the swap, as I'll need to adjust everything (preload and alignment), but my ride quality is just not what I expected out of this kit. Hoping I can get a more compliant ride with a softer spring rate. However, not sure if I need to revalve after that. Still trying to figure out how much of a process this all will be.

Matt @ MCM gave me a killer deal I couldn’t pass up :D

getting extended fronts with clickers and 700lb springs. He went very indepth on some of the techincal aspects I had questions about, so I didn’t hesistate to place my order with him!

What weight are you running with those coils? I run the same setup and can give some insight having run it for over 2 yrs now.

I have a 3rd gen TRDOR DCSB: full steel bumper @165 lbs, winch @60lbs, steel skids @132lbs, dual batteries (split system, 68lb main, 48lb aux), arb twin under the hood@~20lbs...sliders, etc etc.

Should be cherry. 700# is a tad too much in the extended length for my C4 low-pro and winch (135lbs) with sliders (125lbs) and single AGM battery

It seems like it takes forever to break in the coils so be prepared for that.

Really? Yah they are stiff at first, but after 2,000 miles or so they settle right in. Funny thing is they feel just about right now after having them for a while

you could get away with 650lb coils, possibly 600lb.
