    Thanks, I try. He loves anything primitive, he makes his own little crude spears, bows & arrows, even frog giggers. He will gig'em, clean'em and talks his mom into frying the legs for him. At 10yrs old I loved the outdoors as most little boys do but I dont recall ever bring my mom any frog legs to cook for me.:hungry:

    What a good friend!
    Hard to get on some good trout action in SoCal, need to go up north and deeper water. Just got back from Idaho but no trout action so I’ll be headed back soon.

    Ah, these are different kind of trout...sea trout from in the saltwater/ marshes from Delaware to Mexico. Do you fly fish for them up that way?

    I have not yet! I have a fly rod n reel, know how to cast but work been getting in the way but I’m not making any more excuses and gettin out on the water more!

    Nice! I was up there memorial weekend. We fished below the lower camp ground for a bit. The trout snubbed me but I caught a bunch of chubs. I got skunked this past weekend on Pine Creek.

    That's where I caught it, about a 1/2 mile below the dam at the lower camp ground
