Wanted: 05+ Tacoma 4x4 DC LB under $20k

I am coming back to the states and I'm in the market for a 05+ Tacoma 4x4 DC LB, looking to spend less than $20k. I'm located in Florida. I have been on craigslist, autotrader, car.com, autonation.com, carmax.com with one one led.

check craigslist, i got my 06 Double cab trd off road sr5 with jbl stereo upgrade with only 28,000 miles for 20,500. thats below kbb just looh around the deals are out there

 

I tried the same thing 2 years ago. I settled for 24k

 

It's very possible, you just have to know where to look and be patient and persistent in searching. I spent months continually browsing craigslist city by city and found that Phoenix was the jackpot for me.
I got my 06 DCSB TRDOR 4x4 7 months ago for $5k less than anything I had found anywhere else, and there were 3 at the time that were comparable. It was worth my $500 in plane ticket/gas to fly to Phoenix and drive it back to Seattle.

 

I got my 05 TRD sport back in 07 in BSP with 60k on her in 4x4 for 18,500 from my dealership! No BS i took it in on trade for 16 and told my manager id buy it that day...and I did! now shes almost paid off with a 100k on her ...and unlike my x i love her more with each day that passes lol

 

Thanks for the support. I spend a portion of mornings on craigslist (searching city-by-city), checking autotrader, and the rest. I found an 06' DC LB 4x4 SR5 for $16,595 74K miles its a good deal, just waiting to see it in person

 

That sounds like a damn good deal!!

 

DC LB 4x4 are hard to find but just be patient. DC shortbeds are little easier to find.

I'm always lookin on craigslist here are a couple that poped up today in the phoenix area

 

I looked for almost 2 years and finally found my truck on cars.com with flat tires and only 16,000 miles. Stole it off the lot for $16,000, at the time the truck KBB for $22,999

 

Found my 05 Access cab last year for $15k with 60K miles. The deals are out there. You just have to wait.

 

I'm trying to sell my 07 4x4 DC short bed with 74K miles on it for $20k. White in color. Has the TRD Off road package. It great condition.

Its possible! Just bought a 08 Tacoma TRD OR DC with 31K miles for $21,900. But I shopped for it daily on autotrader and craigs for five months! whew!

I just picked up my 2008 DC LB 4x4 TRD Sport for $23,800. It had just over 24k miles. I think if I were more patient I could have found a better deal, but this was the nicest one in town at the time and I had the itch for a 4x4.
