The only things that I want to add to mine are a side bag, maybe new pegs, and a LED headlight. And maybe ill spring for a quad lock phone mount when I get a new phone.

Check these out. Life saver and you dont need to worry about the stupid tiny circlips from Harley anymore. @grdgz97 they will help you too!

Yeah, I was surprised. Ordered Tuesday, get both my pipes and my fender eliminator kit today installed. They sound great, really opens up the V-twin

Does anyone load their bikes on the truck? I'm worried about the tailgate warping. The SV650 is about 430lbs wet.

    Your tailgate will be fine.

You’ll be fine... but you can buy a tailgate reinforcement plate if you’re looking for extra strength and peace of mind.

And for those of you with older trucks - make sure to periodically check/replace the support cables because they rust out over time. One day I was loading a quad into my old ‘97 Tacoma and while standing on the tailgate and pulling the front end up and in one of the cables snapped.

    Great video, thanks!

My MSF instructor told me about the MC Rider channel during our first range day. It’s all great advice that clearly comes from years of experience.

To his point, there are a TON of videos on YT where the host gives horrible advice - usually it’s the young guns who are just hungry for fame and subscribers, and not all that experienced as motorcycle riders.

I’ve learned which channels to follow and which ones to avoid.

I don’t think I’ve seen any of his stuff.

I used to watch stuff from DanDantheFireman but his livestream videos are unwatchable... it’s 25% instructional content and 75% of him pushing people to like and subscribe. My time is too valuable for that nonsense.

    This!

I watched a ton of his early videos if you will. Had good instructional stuff then.

I kinda take what I like or resonates with me from a bunch of them. :notsure:

One of the best investments I made was this motorcycle lift. It’s a Handy SAM 1200. Not getting any younger and this saves my back!

I also got the bike tuned recently. Pretty happy with the results considering she has 20K miles on the clock
