Can’t go wrong with a softopper. Easy to fold down against the cab for larger items or completely remove in under 15 minutes by yourself. Weighs hardly anything and costs a 1/3 of what you would pay for a hard shell. The only con I can think of with a softopper is not as much security as the hard shells but a thief with get into anything regardless of setup if they really want to. Worth checking out in my opinion. I get asked about it all the time when I’m out and about. Good luck to whatever you decide. Take care.

I think super topper comes with a third brake light. I've been running my soft topper for almost 8 months now? without a 3rd brake light even got pulled over by a CHP recently.... CA paid $550 for a use one works like a charm!

I’m prob not going to add a brake light if and when I get the softopper. My front windows are tinted 30% and I have license plate covers on my plates so another thing to add to the things I’m not supposed to do/not do.

Ahh I think i'm running 30 in the rear and 15 in the front plus 15 for front windshield. Soft topper is worth it. Better than a heavy ass shell imo.

No rear brake light on softopper. I also live in CA and have ran this softopper set up for awhile. Never once been bothered.

$2088 OTD, Silver Sky ARE V series, Eureka, CA with front sliding window and a light. Didn’t need other accessories for my needs. Could have got it a few hundred cheaper from Sacramento but the 10 hr round trip drive would have brought me up to the local OTD price. Impatiently waiting for it to come in

It doesn’t have the 3rd brake light. I never have an issue with the law enforcement. I also live here in SoCal .
