    Hi all,

I get some pretty not good vibration going probably 65+, the passenger seat can shake quite a bit.

I have 1700 miles on the car...

Also in drive holding the brake (at stop lights and such, makes me think its not suspension related, motor mounts?) will also produce decent vibrations

    Wondering if this is normal...

My 2016 does that constantly. Luckily I’m always in the driver’s side. My Subaru Outback does it too which makes me think it’s normal? :notsure:

It happened once, I heard it before I saw it. I remember looking over, and the seat is just shaking. If I have a water bottle in the center console, the water shakes too. I also get the dreaded deceleration shakes from 25-17mph.

I don't really know what you are considering excessive shaking or not. I don't seem to notice my truck having excessive vibration in the passenger seat.

    Some rust, runs good.
Sorry about the shakes man, my 2000 shakes quite a bit. This is why I don’t buy a 40k$ new truck. Every little noise or vibration would drive me crazy! :D

Just bought a new 2020 and the passenger seat shakes but it's shook in other vehicles which were cars and not a truck. Since this is a truck it's going to be more apparent than in a car at least that's been my experience so far. This truck drives like a truck and doesn't drive anything like cars I've had prior. That's kind of what I like about it. The shaking is kind of annoying I guess sometimes but not a deal breaker yet. Seems the suspension is quite stiff in my off road that I have. Seems like when you have a sports car and put the suspension at the stiffest lol.

I just took ownership of a 2020 and sometimes my passenger seat (I think the brackets) wobble a bit. At first when I heard that I was like whoa, then realized it’s the passenger seat (doesn’t do it when someone is sitting on the seat and it’s not always) but when you hear it you hear it. I’ll ask the dealership about it first service. See if they can tighten it or whatever

the off-road suspension is stupid soft and spongey. Give it a couple weeks to break in

Have about 700 miles on it now and had it over a month. To me it isn't soft and spongey really at all but I've never owned a truck before so not sure. I'll keep driving it and hopefully it will break in and get softer or I get more used to it.

My 2019 SR5 RWD doublecab does this - I get vibration when I brake on some roads - I always wonder if the vibration when braking can be caused by the small ripples in blacktop that isn't perfectly flat. Others times it doesn't seem to happen. I do see vibration of the passenger seat at times too. It seems to be dependent on the roads I'm on.

    A little maddening.

My 2020 access cab had a slight vibration when braking to a stop when it was under 500 miles....now with over 2k miles its totally gone. When i would slip it in neutral during that time, and hit the brakes there was no vibration so i assumed it was the transmission torque converter as the cause.
