All your answers are in the thread below, which covers all the fog lights. Best performance in an OEM mount is the Diode Dynamics SS3 linked at the top. If you really wanted OEM look, then KC G4s in either amber (linked at the top) or 5000k white (covered in the main thread) would be the way to go.

Any advice for keeping the water out of the passenger side housing? That darn "air vent" in the fender liner is ridiculous, it points the spray right at the back of the housing :annoyed:

Agreed the vent location is poor for that fog. I think the weak point is the breather, some have them pointed back toward that opening while others have them pointed down. Honestly I've run so many fog configurations in my truck than none have been in there long enough to experience an issue. Pretty happy with the SS3 Pro Selective Yellows though, so we'll see how those hold up.

I am running the Offroadtown ones @crashnburn80 has in his write up with cali raised brackets. If I had it to do again, I'd probably go with Morimotos.

I certainly wouldn't recommend Morimotos, as they are among the lowest output of all the fogs options. The Toyota LED fogs are higher performing and cheaper, but KC is significantly better still (but do cost more).

I’m not doubting you or arguing with you at all as you are far more knowledgeable than I am, but I do love my Morimoto’s personally. They’re bright for me and I like the cut-off.

You will not be disappointed. Just make sure to aim them properly. If your truck is stock, you will find that you need to aim them pretty much all the way down to get the perfect pattern.

I'm glad you like your Morimotos. I had them too at one time. Unfortunately, the difference between them and the KC's - or the Diode Dynamics - is night and day.

Good to know. I ordered them during their last sale, but they haven't arrive yet. I'll do my initial setup with them all the way down.
